I have been a Registered General Nurse (RGN) since 1987 and have worked in a variety of areas including the National Health Service, children with special needs, on location during a TV shoot, and industrial nursing. This long career has enhanced my midwifery as I have an additional depth of knowledge, which enhances  the holistic midwifery I provide. My midwifery experience includes working in a Special care baby unit and working for three years in a midwife-led birth centre in Portsmouth. In the Birth centre I gained experience in Waterbirth and attended Homebirths. I helped women to give birth to their babies in the way they hoped for.
